Patience. So very hard to be patient sometimes.
“So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.” – Hebrews 10:35-36
Patience requires trust. Trust that our God knows what He’s doing. Trust that what He promises us will come to pass.
Very difficult words to rest in yet God calls us to rest in them both. As we lean into Him our trust deepens. As we trust more our relationship grows. As we have more patience we learn more. True….but can’t we have it all now?!?
Bill Gates said that patience is the key element to success.
J.M. Barrie said that all the world is made of faith and trust and pixie dust.
Funny but true. We sometimes need something otherworldly to keep us on the right path. That’s Jesus. Walking with us, watching over us. His Spirit guiding us through it all.
Today. Have faith. Have trust. He is with us….always.
What little steps can you take today to trust God today?
Is it with a friendship or relationship that’s a little rocky?
