9.29.20 – Daily Dose of Worship. A study on the Holy Spirit. Part 80. Seek.

DEVOTION: “Did it ever strike you that we cannot have too much of God? When a person is full of God, then the visions begin. When God has you in His own plan, what a change; how things operate! You wonder, you see things in a new light. God is being greatly glorified as you yield day to day. The Spirit seems to lay hold of you and bring you further along. Yes, it is a pressing on, and then He gives us touches of His wonderful power, manifestations of the glory of these things and indications of greater things to follow. These days that we are living in now speak of even better days.” (Pg 122)

Too much of God. Never thought that way about it before. But, maybe…when I am worshiping or really just lost in His presence I certainly have caught myself saying, God I can’t take anymore, your goodness is too much for me. That’s when the thankfulness takes over and I succumb to Him and give all that I can to Him. If only we had that going on daily….

This idea of God having us in His plan is an intriguing idea to me. How do we know that we are in His plan? How do we know the plan? Can we get the plans to the plan?

All good questions. All relevant questions. Answers….not so easy to list out. So…it comes down to this. Our relationship with Him. Our prayer life. Our daily interaction with Him and our eagerness to find Him in it all.

How eager are you to find Him in it all? How eager are you to find Jesus in every day life. What are you doing to find God’s plan?

I can’t answer these questions for you. I just wanted to bring them up and get you thinking today.

God’s plan surrounds us. It’s here. We need to seek HIM first before we’re able to answer any of these questions. Today. Dive into Matthew 6:33. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all of these things will be added unto you.”

Today. Seek.

PRAYER: Today. Talk to God about His plan in your life.

I know that if I’m hoping for something and it doesn’t come and then I stop put the hope in Jesus it happens. Example when I was in the military and I wanted to make the next rank I would check the lists every day. One day I said (he said) Stop looking at the list and get back to work. Two or three days later someone came up to me and congratulated me on making the next rank. Crazy, but all things happen in his time. Seek him and he will fill you with great things. Grow strong in his loving arms.

AMEN !!!! Seek, and you will find !! Knock and the door will open !!!! these words come up right in the next chapter , Seek First, the kingdom of God !and His righteousness and all these things will be provided for you !!!! And this whole chapter before these key words , is telling us to not worry about anything, It is so explicit that God will give us all we need , and more, down to what we wear, eat and drink. I have stood on these scriptures, so many times, for yes, the essentials of life, and my God has never failed me, never !!!!! It is always awesome to look at familiar scriptures with new perception, this is Gods plan not mine, awesome !!!!! Let me see with Your eyes Lord!!!!
