9.2.20 – Daily Dose of Worship. A study on the Holy Spirit. Part 53. Sermon.

PRAYER: Please pray for Rodney today. He’s a new believer, he accepted Jesus on Sunday!

DEVOTION: “I maintain that all gifts and graces are only for one thing: to make you desire gifts and graces. Don’t miss what I say. Every touch of the divine life by the Spirit is only for one purpose: to make your life go on to a higher height than where you are. Beloved, if anybody has to rise up in the meeting to tell me how they were baptized with the Holy Spirit in order for me to know they are baptized, I say, “You have fallen from grace. You ought to have such a baptism that everybody can tell you are baptized without you telling how you were baptized.” That would make a new day. That would be a sermon in itself to everybody, not only in here but outside. (pg 75)

Live the life.

Let’s end there. 🙂 But seriously, we probably could. Smith is so right. If we have to go around stating that we are Christians, we’re doing it wrong. It’s all about our lives, our speech, our reactions, our actions, all that we do. Kind of sounds like a song, doesn’t it….click here to check that out.

Our lives are to be sermons.

Help me to see with your eyes, hear with your ears.
Lean on the laughter and taste every tear.
Hold on to nothing but your precious love.
Give all that I can and never give up.
Everything that I do, let it be a reflection of You.

God, today. May we be a reflection of you. May our lives be sermons to others. Let out hearts be drawn deeper and deeper into the transformation that you bring.

Let me reflect You.

This reminded me of a song we used to sing in church. The lyrics said basically that they will know we are Christians by our LOVE.

Amen. I have a story to share. Ten Days ago I arrived at a new city. I took a place for 10 days by a Marina low key area or Alymer Gatineau area of Quebec. I stayed at a AirBNb which means you stay in someone’s home temporary.
Stayed in afew over last number of months. This one was unique the Guy Deigo I stayed with was from Nicaragua. When I left yesterday he put in a review about me I would have never imagined. It was God’s Love That transferred to this man. Sometimes we are not aware how God is using us
