8.15.20 – Daily Dose of Worship. A study on the Holy Spirit. Part 35. Goodness.

PRAYER: Please pray today for our recording sessions on Saturday and Sunday. That God would shine through all of it. For health and smooth days.

DEVOTION: “More and more I see that it is through the grace of God that I am preserved every day. It is when we realize the goodness of God that we are brought to repentance….Saul was struck down, and he saw a light, a light that was brighter than the sun. As he fell speechless to the ground, he heard a voice say to him, “Saul, why are you persecuting me?” He asked, Who are you Lord?” and the answer came back, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.” And Saul cried, “Lord, what do you want me to do?” (Acts 9:4-6) (Page 55-56)

Smith digs into grace a little bit here and it’s eye opening as always. It is by grace that we are here. It is by grace that we breath and are alive. When we really understand and realize the incredible goodness of God. The mercy, the grace, the love, all of it, then we are brought to a place of repentance, where we have no choice but to offer it all up to Him and express our devotion and dependance on Him. This comes with a daily walk with God. A daily conversation. Daily prayer. Getting to know Him more and more and realizing that we need Him each and every day of our lives.

Today. Just take time to realize the goodness of God. Take time to realize our desire for full dependance on Him. Repent today and be drawn closer to Jesus. Repent today and be forgiven of your sins. Repent today and be made new.

Let the goodness, the newness, the mercy, the grace and the love of our incredible Father fill your heart, mind, body and soul today. Be drawn back to Him if you’ve drifted away. Be drawn closer to Him if you already feel close.

Let all that you do today be done to realize how good He is in your life.

God you are so good! Tuesday morning, I stumbled across Andrew Wommack’s HEALING IS HERE Conference. He is an evangelistic minister whose goal is to get people to accept the healing that Jesus died for on the cross. It is incredible what happens when you search the scriptures. So many people shared testimony of what standing on the word, praying in he spirit, and having violent faith can do. This is not my first rodeo … I have seen the power of faith, I have experienced but it never ceases to amaze me. God is so good, there is not one situation that he hasn’t provided for. The Holy Spirit is among us…moving…feel the power of Heaven moving inside of you….
