4.5.20 – Daily Dose of Worship. Psalm 91:15. Rescue.

PRAYER: Please pray for an end to this pandemic. For God’s mercy on our land.

DEVOTION: “When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them.” – Psalm‬ ‭91:15

Sorry for the delay in this post. I got word last night that a long time colleague at a former job has died. He was a really good man who worked a lot in the addiction and recovery world. Ended up just going to bed early.

This quarantine and this situation that we’re in is certainly taking its toll on all of us. I pray that you would continue to stand firm in your faith.

This verse explains it all, doesn’t it. We need to continually call on God. Call on his hope, his truth, his strength, his love, his mercy, his grace, his glory. God promises that he will rescue. That he will answer.

God, today, we call on you. We call on your hope for all of us. We call on you to rescue us. That you would deliver us from this evil and make a way. In Jesus name….amen.

Hope comes before recovery. They are predicting awful things for this week, they don’t know my God. I believe he hears me so…..every hour I am tithing 6 minutes of my time to the God of hope praying and praising…..faith over fear
