John 11:25-26: “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?'”
That’s the question of the day. Do you believe?
We’ve been speaking and studying deeply about the Sermon on the Mount and we are right in the middle of Jesus speaking and driving the point home about our fear getting in the way of our faith. Our uncertainty getting in the way of our faith. Our stress and anxiety getting in the way of our faith.
Jesus speaking to Martha here about Lazarus, saying that he will rise again. Asking her if she believes. She responds stating that she believes He is the Messiah.
I’ll ask again. Do you believe?
Do you believe that Jesus can raise you from the dead? Raise your hopes and dreams from the dead? Raise your relationships from the dead? Raise your lack of faith from the dead? Raise your marriage from the dead?
Do you believe that He is greater than your fear.
Greater than the uncertainty that you face.
Greater than all that is getting in the way of your faith.
He is greater, stronger, more powerful than all of it. He defeated the grave and rose again. He defines hope. He defines love. He defines clarity and direction. He is the light on the path in front of each and every one of us.
