3.4.20 – Daily Dose of Worship. 1 John 4:7. Community.

PRAYER: Thanks for the prayers this week. Home safe. Gonna get some rest. Please pray for a gentlemen at the show tonight. He’s not a follower of Jesus but came with a friend tonight. Was pretty moved by the whole thing, bought a T-shirt and loved “Don’t Miss this Life.” Let’s pray that God starts working in his life.

DEVOTION: “Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.” – 1 John‬ ‭4:7‬

Love one another.

I was speaking with a fellow MNW’er tonight about how our little community is built. How we pray for each other and genuinely care for each other. This is what Jesus calls us to do. Be involved and be there.

So. Today. As you go about your day. Think about our MNW’ers and pray for them. Let them know that you’re thinking of them and praying for them in the comments on the MondayNightWorship.com page. Shoot them a private message. If they’re close, grab coffee.

But. Just show some love to those in our community. You guys are truly the best and I’m so thankful that we get to do this together.

Dave, I know I may have been annoying with my incessant requests for you to sing “Don’t Miss this Life” and prayed for you when you said “you’d forgotten how to play it”. That song spoke into my life the very first time I heard it, and my trajectory was changed! I’m SO happy that it has re-arisen into your set list, and I feel the Spirit move when you sing it! (I pray the same for this gentleman!) THANK YOU!

Tracy. Not at all. Sometimes it takes the right time and situation for a song to rise back to where it needs to be. I’ve found that over the years. I find it funny that you were praying for me to play the song 🙂 – amazing. Thanks for that. Seems to be working for more people now.

    Hi Dave!
I caught and enjoyed your live feeds this week. Loved last night’s set list! Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us at First Presbyterian Babylon on 3/14! (Change…….perhaps?!! 😉) .
I’m proud to be a member of the MNW community and love that we all pray for each other (and for you, your family, and your ministry). We truly care for each other. How cool is that?!
