3.17.20 – Daily Dose of Worship. Jeremiah 29:13. Seek.

PRAYER: Please pray for hope tonight. Continued prayers hope and mercy.

DEVOTION: “If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.” – ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:13

In the midst of it all. Jesus. In all of his love, mercy and compassion. Is here.

I think this is an incredible opportunity to share the hope of Jesus. In a time of fear, panic and uncertainty, so many look for answers. Our response needs to be smart, controlled and peaceful.

I told my kids tonight that we need to have positivity, need to be patient and we need to be in prayer. Those are the three P’s we are practicing right now.

This can happen only with a confidence, trust and faith in Jesus. Faith that he will see us through. Faith that his plan is perfect. Faith that he is in control of it all.

So today. Let’s seek him. In all of it. Seek and we will find him. Seek and we will find peace. Seek and we will find patience. Seek him in prayer today.

A good word, as I get ready to head into work , which will again be filled with people so worried and filled with doubt. The office protocol is going the distance to take care of the staff , wearing face masks and gloves, and it makes us all aware of the possible contamination threat. In the midst of it all, Jesus is Here, His love is here……the lyrics in so many songs have been in my heart while going about the turmoil , and my heart can praise Him continuously , through out it all. So grateful for the gift of music and song, to declare and know , how Great is Our God !!! Hope is Alive !!! and Just like we all got through those awful days after 9-11 we will get through this, giving praise and all the glory to God for the wonderful things He will do !!

God has proven over and over that He is present in my life. Last Friday when I got caught up in the frenzy of worrying whether I had enough food and toilet paper for a possible two week quarantine, I rushed to the supermarket after work. It was disturbing to see empty shelves and worrying because there was no meat in the meat cases. I bought some shelf staple items and returned home. In the back of my mind, I replayed the Bible story about the loaves and the fishes. I felt a peace come over me. The next day, my sister-in-law phoned and asked if I would like some chicken. Seems my brother’s boss gave each of his employees forty pounds of chicken cutlets and chop meat AND a case of toilet paper to keep and/or share with their families and friends.
    Loaves and fishes indeed! ☝️😉❤️
