3.10.20 – Daily Dose of Worship. 1 Peter 4:10. Serve.

PRAYER: Please pray for Beth. Peace and understanding in her grief.

DEVOTION: “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” – 1 Peter‬ ‭4:10‬

Key phrase here. Serve one another. God has given each of us gifts that make up the body of Christ. Some are singers, some are cooks, some are better listeners than others….but all of us make up the body of Christ and are meant to be part of that body in our own unique way.

This was something that I touched on in Season 1 Episode 5 of Daily Devotions. (https://youtu.be/Row30xz12zM). How we are meant to serve. How we are meant to be doing more and giving more back.

So. How do you serve each other in your family, your friend circle, your workplace?

Remember. Jesus called us to serve. Serve each other within the body, yes, but to serve others as well and show and share the love of Jesus.

Today. Consider this.

Certain limitations keep me from always being able to serve others. Thankfully, God has given me some creative ways to do so. Today, I thought of another way to serve…remaining calm in the midst of very public storm. We are to have the mind of Christ. If we are calm and filled with God’s peace when so many others are in panic and fear we can show them the hope of Jesus, whether or not they receive a seed still has been planted.
