3.1.20 – Daily Dose of Worship. Isaiah 55:6-7. Wrong/Right.

PRAYER: Please pray for our shows this week. Looking forward to seeing some of you in South Jersey.

DEVOTION: “Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:6-7‬

Interesting choice of words to start this verse off with, “Seek the Lord while you can find Him…”. Does that mean that there might be days where we can’t find him? That’s a very scary thought. Not sure about you but I need him all the time.

Then we go on to speak about turning from our wrong. How often do we turn from the wrong in our lives? Do we even know when we are doing wrong? What’s the barometer? The gauge of wrong and right?

I think, written in our hearts somewhere there’s a book. It’s a book that gets updated daily, sometimes hourly and it guides us through the decisions, indecision’s, the wrongs and rights in our lives.

All we need to do is continually seek God and ask him for direction, guidance and a strong moral compass in our lives.

It’s hard. Temptation is everywhere. But remember, God in his never ending love and mercy is with us.
