2.16.20 – Daily Dose of Worship. James 3:17-18. Peace. Wisdom.

PRAYER: Thanks for the prayers this weekend. I’m driving home Monday for 5 hours so please keep that in prayer. 40 kids sponsored this weekend. Incredible.

DEVOTION: “The wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.” – James 3: 17-18

Wisdom. I’ve been praying lately that I would have “wisdom beyond my years”. Wisdom to make decisions, to speak better, to listen better to give advice better.

I think a dependence on God in this area is so very important. To recognize and embrace the fact that we don’t have all the answers and that God does, is a place of dependency, trust and faith.

I pray that you would also take a step in this direction. A step in the direction of wisdom and faith.

Read the verse again.

See how important the last part is. Peace. How important is peace in our lives? In our marriages? In our families? Our office? Our relationships? Our hearts?

Wisdom brings peace which brings happiness, contentment and so much more.

God, grant us wisdom. Grant is peace.
