12.7.20 – Daily Dose of Worship. A study on prayer. Part 22. Morning.

DEVOTION: “Our morning prayer should be that in Imitation; “da hodie perfecte incipere” which translated means, “give me a perfect start.” or “grant me to make an unflawed beginning today, for I have done nothing yet.” (Pg 32)

As we rise each morning. Let the daybreak bring peace. Peace in knowing that His mercies are new. That as of yet, nothing is out of place.

Take rest and shelter in that today. Yes, the day may go off the rails, it’s bound to actually. They all do…but, as the sun breaks over the horizon, as the cloud begin to fill with pink and orange.

The light brings newness, brings hope, brings Jesus.

Find Him in it all today.

    Lamentations 3:22–33

    22 the steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;1

    23 they are new every morning;

    great is your faithfulness.

    24 “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,

    “therefore I will hope in him.”
