DEVOTION: “For it is not so much of our time and so much of our attention that God demands; it is not even all our time and all our attention: it is ourselves.” (Pg 101)
Once again this word rises to the surface.
It’s such a stern and wonderful reminder here. We can give so much of our time and effort but God is looking for us, not the things we do.
All of our efforts are wonderful but at the end of the day. It’s us. He wants us.
Total surrender. For us to die to self. Live for Christ.
We must make room for Him in all of us. In all our ways and all our days. In every moment and every mishap. When we want Him there and when we don’t want Him there. In all of it.
It’s a daily battle of surrender. A battle that’s not ours to fight. A battle that we must surrender. There is no heroic fight that will take place here…
Just a humble surrender of it all to Jesus.
