11.1.20 – Daily Dose of Worship. A study on the Holy Spirit. Part 113. I’m wrong?

Red and green street signs with blue sky with words Right and Wrong Right versus Wrong

DEVOTION: “You must cease to be. That is a difficult thing for all of us but it is no trouble at all when you are in the hands of the Potter. You are only wrong when you are kicking. You are all right when you are still and He is forming you afresh. So let Him form you afresh today into a new vessel so that you will stand the stress.” (Pg193)

You are only wrong when you are kicking.

Ever been in that situation? You fight for something. You scream for something. You make a big noise about the thing only to realize….it was the wrong decision. It was the wrong thing to be fighting for.

It happens to all of us. We kick. We scream. We fight. Yet..at the end of the day. God knows. He knows what’s right. What’s wrong. What’s not yet supposed to happen and what isn’t meant to be.

Yet, we fight Him.

Surrender. Yet again, this word comes up. Surrender. We need to let the Spirit in our hearts have free reign of all of it. Our decisions, our thoughts, our actions. All of it. He needs to be the deciding factor. We need to listen for the voice of God in us, pointing the way.

Oh, that we would have ears to hear and eyes to see.

PRAYER: God, give me ears. Give me eyes. Let me see your way before me.
